Johan Galtung (JG) founded the science of peace and committed to futures as the dwelling of change. Deep in his peace works is the theme of peace futures, the arena of deep transformation through creativity, empathy and nonviolence.
This polylogue will begin with a sharing on the thoughts of Johan Galtung on the centrality of the futures as transformative and transcending spaces for peace. It will comment on the poverty of creative imagination of possible future realities that are inclusive, mutual, equitable and regenerative that leads to violence.
After a brief presentation, a polylogue will be made with the participants to possibly apply the thoughts of Johan Galtung on peace futures and concludes with honoring him as one of the founders of WFSF.
This is a sharing and polylogue work/write shop honoring the thoughts of JG and his compelling visions for peace.
