Adam Cowart is a PhD researcher and teaching fellow in the School of Design at Carnegie
Mellon University studying Transition Design and an adjunct professor of foresight at the
University of Houston. He holds a BFA and MFA in creative writing from the University of British Columbia, an MBA from Simon Fraser University, and an MSc in foresight from the University of Houston. His research focuses on dynamic emplotment and restorying to facilitate futures imaginaries and systems-level transitions.
