Dr. Gardner is a trained futurist and evaluator, including developing capacity building resources for each discipline. She is a leader in advancing foresight evaluation and is the Chair of the Association of Professional Futurist’s Foresight Evaluation Task Force, an initiative to explore the intersection of evaluation and foresight. Additionally, she and her evaluation colleagues conduct foresight methods workshops at evaluation conferences. She is also a thought leader in evaluating advocacy initiatives that influence decision-making, including co-authoring the definitive text book, Advocacy and Policy Change Evaluation: Theory and Practice. Currently, she is the facilitator of a Community of Practice: Advocacy Meets Foresight.
