Herbert Salazar Dos Santos received a B.S. degree in computer science and a M.Sc. degree in systems engineering and computing from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, in 2019 and 2021, respectively, where he is currently is an academic researcher and D.Sc student.

Additionally, Herbert is an active researcher at Laboratório do Futuro – a group of Brazilian researchers focused on future studies – and holds the position of Tech Lead at LABORe, a startup dedicated to developing solutions aimed at enhancing the employability of individuals, institutions, and governments. His research interests encompass data science, the evolving nature of work, the future of education and decision support systems.
