Dr. Vissonova is an educator, researcher and author in sustainable design. She is the Founder and the Head of the Institute of Advanced Design Studies non-profit – an independent research institute focused on sustainable design and higher education. With over two and a half decades of experience, Dr. Vissonova has played pivotal roles in groundbreaking research and development initiatives, transformative product and business innovations, educational advancements and curricula development, community development efforts, and multifaceted design projects. Her roles have encompassed that of an innovator, manager, strategist, and board member. She is presently a lecturer, speaker and an author in theory and philosophy of design with a focus on sustainability and future of wellbeing. Beyond her academic and professional accomplishments, Dr. Vissonova has also curated exhibitions at the intersection of art, science, and education.
