April K Ward is passionate about peace and better understanding the way ideas about the future shape behaviour in conflict–the subject of her ongoing doctoral research where she actively explores the relationship between anticipation, imagined futures, violence, and non-violence in complex conflict systems and peace processes. Ms Ward is pursuing her PhD under the direction of Professor Ted Fuller, UNESCO Chair in Responsible Foresight for Sustainable Development at the University of Lincoln. She has a background working for international organisations and the private sector.
