Yuhua BU, Associate Director of Institute of Basic Education Reform and Development , the Key Liberal arts base of the Mistry of Education, at East China Normal University(ECNU), Professor and PhD Supervisor in the Department of Education of ECNU, and Deputy Director of the Academy of “Life·Practice” Pedagogy of ECNU. Her primary research areas include Educational Philosophy ,Schooling reform and development, future education, and future schools..She has published more than 10 books , such as “The Generation of Change Reform Force: The Internal Pathway of Chinese School Transformative Development” ,and about 80papers ,such as “Narrative Inquiry into Reciprocal Learning Between Canada-China Sister Schools.” She has also authored papers on topics like “The Four Fundamental Relationships of China’s School Reform that Deserve Insight””On the Realistic Basis,Predicament and Breakthrough Path of Classroom Teaching in China”and “Promoting the development of backbone teachers through University-School Collaborative Research: the case of New Basic Education (NBE) reform in China.”In recent two years, She has been hosting the National Major Project ” Reconstructing the Organizational Form and Institutions of Future Schools in Theory and Practice ” .She hopes to integrate the research of future education ,futurology and Chinese traditional culture.
